AYLA "Docket Call" Happy Hour Sponsor Information
The Austin Young Lawyers Association (AYLA) hosts a
"Docket Call" Happy Hour social every month for its more than 1200 members.
The "Docket Call" is usually the third Thursday of the month from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at a popular, central Austin location.
Sponsors of "Docket Call" receive:
- Their logo on the event invitations which are mailed to more than 1200 attorneys
- The opportunity to bring up to 10 company representatives to meet and interact with the attorneys at the happy hour
- Recognition in the Austin Lawyer newsletter for their sponsorship
(the Austin Lawyer is mailed monthly to more than 3600 area attorneys)
Sponsors of these social events have the opportunity to meet and interact with the young lawyers in a relaxed,
casual atmosphere. The cost of sponsorship is $1,000. If, however, there are two companies that would like to split one
sponsorship, the cost may be divided so that each pays only half but both still receive all the benefits.
The $1,000 sponsorship is made payable to the Austin Young Lawyers Association and is due one week before the event.
The Austin Young Lawyers Association then writes a check for $1,000 to the designated location for the happy hour.
The entire amount is spent on beverages for our members and our sponsors at "Docket Call". The sponsor has the
opportunity to select the locations for the event or let the AYLA Social Committee decide.
